Built in 1979. GRP construction with orange topsides and white superstructure, fin keel, aft cockpit with tiller steering, bermudan sloop rig. In 2015 the hull was taken back to bare GRP beneath the waterline and several layers of gel-shield were applied.

Saloon with two settee berths either side of a large folding dining table with bottle storage and excellent storage in various lockers. Galley to port equipped with a single burner camping gas stove, sink and ample stowage. Chart table to starboard with instrumentation and chart stowage over a large quarter berth aft to starboard. Separate wet hanging locker. Cold water supply to heads and galley. Teak and holly soleboards, dark red upholstery (new 2012) with complementing cream curtains.
Purchased by her present owner in 2020 with a pre-purchase survey, "Aurora" has been sailed and enjoyed on the East Coast. The Friendship 28 is better known in Holland where they were built, having a good reputation for sea keeping and sailing ability. This is a great example, perhaps needing some varnishing here and there, but having a recent rig & great engine with good electronics too! A really good buy!
