We purchased Private Island in June 2021 and put a ton of work, time, and money into her to fix everything up to be a great live aboard cruiser. Though we have only owned her a short while, she is not the same vessel she was when we bought her (some of the most notable upgrades are brand new standing rigging, bottom paint, and a FULL electronics upgrade). She still has some cosmetic work that could be done if you have an eye for design but is completely livable as-is. We enjoyed living aboard this summer/fall, and as we are now expecting a baby we have chosen to sell her to buy a house. A special thing about this boat is that to our knowledge it is the first Fountaine Pajot to have an owners suite (it was a custom made boat for Ted Turner Jr, the original owner and the design was the predecessor for the Maestro). We are only the 3rd owner and this boat has never been chartered.
