J30 "ENCOUNTER" has been raced very successfully for her entire life, most recently on the southern Chesapeake Bay. She has been well maintained to J30 class standards; hauled annually with the 2022 haul including a bottom soda blast, refairing, 5 coats of Interprotect and new hard antifouling paint. This maintenance period included mast removal/ inspection, and new standing rigging, new Harken foil, new VHF antenna and cabling, and new Windex.
