Portland Marina

In April 2009 Dean & Reddyhoff Marinas opened a brand new 560 berth marina in Portland Harbour.   Building work started back in October 2007; this included the marina's 875 metre tipped stone breakwater. Over 250,000 tonnes of stone was used in the breakwater and land reclamation, all sourced from local Portland quarries. Construction of the marina's 50T and 320T hoist docks has now been completed and the site has now opened for lift out and winter storage of boats. The marina took the lines of its first berth holders in April 2009. New shoreside facilities include luxurious washrooms, changing and laundry facilities, a waterside bar/restaurant, 15 retail/business units and five commercial units.
