Nautitech 40 Open is the most compact sailing catamaran in the model range, produced since 2013. Length 11.98 meters, draft 1.35 meters, designed for going out to sea and ocean, suitable for short or weekly cruises. The exterior was developed in collaboration with designer Mark Lombard, design with Roseo Design, and in 2015 the catamaran received design awards.
The cockpit and salon with galley and living room are combined into a single space, located on the same level, protected by a hard roof. There is a sunbathing area in the trampoline, a tender area and a swimming ladder at the stern. Two control posts are slightly shifted back, allow you to constantly control the course, see the horizon and keep the sail in sight without losing visual contact with the crew.
The Solent drill rig offers a choice of options for sails and a square top mainsail.
There are layouts with three or four double cabins. They are located in buildings, equipped with bathrooms, lockers under the bed and hanging wardrobes. The opening portholes are equipped with curtains and shutters. The three-cabin option provides a master stateroom for the owner in the left hull with a work area and desk.
The Nautitech 40 Open is powered by two Volvo Penta 40 hp diesel engines.
