The Rinker 290 EX is an open bow-rider introduced to the public at Motor Boat - Walkaround in 2018. The boat with a rigid arch frame and a hardtop above the captain’s bridge has a fiberglass hull length of 9.7 m. The manufacturer has created several interior options for its cabin and deck, and also offers various options, from the chartplotter to the subwoofer.
In the bow there is a stainless railing on the sides and a porthole in the roof of the cabin. The cabin with the control panel, captain's sofa and passenger lounger is glazed in front. Between the dashboard and the sunbed there is a plastic door leading to the bow cabin with a galley equipped with a sink, oven, refrigerator and stove. The dining area is formed by a semicircular convertible sofa and a telescopic table. If desired, with the help of a sofa and additional pillows two full beds are formed, and behind a separate door in the cabin there is a bathroom with a sink. On the cockpit there is a corner sofa, a minibar with a grill, a compartment for storing dishes and cup holders.
On the starboard side from the cockpit there is a passage to the bathing platform with a retractable staircase.
The manufacturer recommends to equip the Rinker 290 EX, which can be used as a towing vehicle for wakeboarding and wakesurfing, with a wide selection of engines from Mercury or Volvo with power from 350 to 380 hp.
