Baileys Harbor was born from the need of a natural “Port in a Storm” for Captain Justice Bailey in the year 1848. Since that day, the need for a modern day ?Harbor of Refuge? along Lake Michigan’s untamed waters has been realized. It is out of that need that the year 2000 brought about the construction of our fine new facility, the Baileys Harbor Town Marina.Whether a pleasure boater on a day sail, the serious yachtsman, angler, or just the opportunity to sit shore side and enjoy the sensational vistas surrounding our facility, our staff and community are here to serve your needs.
