The Chaparral 246 SSI is a bow-rider with an expanded nose and a fiberglass body made by vacuum molding. This method makes it possible to reduce the weight of the vessel without loss of strength characteristics. The reduced mass of the hull and improved streamlining allows the boat to reach speeds of up to 41 knots. Seaworthiness class C - the vessel is designed to enter coastal waters. The boat was produced by the Chaparral shipyard from 2013 to 2018.
At the stern of the boat is a swimming platform with anti-slip coating and a folding chrome ladder for launching into the water. At the stern of the cockpit is a corner sofa with lockers for storing personal belongings and rescue equipment. There is also a refrigerator under the Chaparral 246 SSI sofa. The control post is equipped with a steering seat and a captain's seat. The dashboard is equipped with a speedometer, tachometer, fuel level sensor, an electronic information panel, a gas-reverse switch and an emergency engine stop button. There are two sun loungers, a folding table and a telescopic ladder for going ashore, and a bathroom is installed in the left console.
