The Chaparral 277 SSX is the successor to the Chaparral series of lightweight, sporty bow-riders from the American shipyard, produced since 2013. The hull of the model is made of fiberglass fiber, which allowed to reduce the weight of the boat, improve its controllability and increase speed performance. The case is made using vacuum molding technology, this allows to reduce the weight and volume of the part without loss of strength characteristics. Seaworthiness class - C (CE), the vessel is designed to enter coastal waters.
The stern of the boat is equipped with a bathing platform with a self-draining system, anti-slip coating and a folding ladder for launching into the water. In the back of the cockpit there is a soft lounger for relaxation. The Chaparral 277 SSX cockpit has two corner sofas with lockers for storing personal belongings and equipment, a folding table can also be installed here.
There are two seats at the control post: for the captain and the helmsman, the captain's chair has several adjustments. On the dashboard there is a tachometer, speedometer and fuel level sensor. Below is the remote control of the boat's audio system, equipped with waterproof speakers. In the bow cockpit there are two sun loungers, lockers for storing life equipment or fishing tackle and a vertical loading refrigerator.
The boat Chaparral 277 SSX is equipped with a stationary engine Volvo V8L V8-380C EVC Ocean X (CATALYST) DP, with it the boat is capable of speeds up to 38 knots. The fuel supply is 397 liters, the tank for fresh water is 57 liters.
